- Return postage is at your cost for change-of-mind returns
- Original shipping fees are not refunded

- Free or bonus items are not eligible for return or exchange

Every Snap Shades window shade comes with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase, provided by Innovation Collective Pty Ltd.
What’s covered:
The warranty covers the shade fabric if it cracks, splits, or tears as a direct result of UV exposure during normal domestic use. If a valid claim is approved, we’ll replace the product at no cost.
What’s not covered:
- Commercial vehicle use
- Misuse, neglect, accident, or abuse
- Unauthorised modifications to the product
- Installation that did not follow our provided instructions
- Colour fading caused by UV exposure
- Chemical degradation from UV rays
- Damage caused by chemicals, open flames, heat sources, over-tensioning, or friction
- Damage caused by parties other than Snap Shades
How to make a claim:
Email info@snapshades.com with your proof of purchase. We may ask you to return the product at your expense. All warranty claims are assessed by Innovation Collective Pty Ltd, and decisions are final.
Your Snap Shades warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which entitles you to a replacement, refund, repair, or compensation for major failures.

Snap Shades products are built to Australian standards with materials selected for UV performance, durability, and precise vehicle compatibility.
Side window shades are constructed from high-quality mesh with high-strength magnets embedded in the shade frame. The mesh has been independently tested by the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA) and reduces UVA and UVB rays by 84.6%.
Front windscreen shades use a triple laminate construction: a reflective outer layer, an insulating foam core, and a soft felt inner backing. They provide maximum UV protection and significantly reduce interior temperature in a parked vehicle. Unlike the side window shades, front windscreen shades do not use the smart magnet system.
Weather shields are manufactured from high-grade polycarbonate at approximately 2.5mm thickness with built-in UV-resistant properties.

What does the Snap Shades warranty cover?
Every Snap Shades window shade comes with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers the shade fabric if it cracks, splits, or tears as a direct result of UV exposure during normal domestic use.
The warranty does not cover commercial vehicle use, misuse, neglect, damage from chemicals or heat, colour fading, or installations that did not follow our provided instructions. Warranty claims are assessed by Innovation Collective Pty Ltd, and decisions are final.

How do I make a warranty claim?
Email info@snapshades.com with your proof of purchase. We may ask you to return the product at your expense before a replacement is approved.
If your claim is approved, we'll either replace the product at no cost. Approved replacement products can be collected from our Silverwater warehouse or shipped to you (delivery fees apply).
What happens if my order arrives damaged or faulty?
If your product arrives damaged or faulty, contact us at info@snapshades.com or call 02 9538 4633. We will provide a prepaid return label. Do not return the item before receiving label authorisation, as we cannot reimburse unsanctioned postage.
Photo evidence of the fault or damage may be required before we process an exchange or refund. We will dispatch your replacement once the defective item has been received back at our facility.
Can I return my Snap Shades if I change my mind?
Yes. You have 30 days from the date of purchase to return any Snap Shades product for a change-of-mind return. Items must be in original condition.

How long does a refund take to process?

Do Snap Blades wiper blades come with the same guarantee?
Yes. Snap Blades vehicle-specific wiper blades carry a 365-day warranty and a 30-day return period, consistent with the rest of the Snap Shades range.
For wiper blade care, we recommend replacing blades every 6 to 12 months, or sooner if you notice streaking, squeaking, skipping, or splitting. Visit our FAQ page for full care guidance.
